Steps Of Making Rod BlankWhat We Do And Make?
Cutting Prepreg Material
Carbon or fiberglass prepreg sheets are cut into specific shapes.
Rolling the Prepreg
Prepreg layers are rolled tightly onto the mandrel.
Oven Curing Process
The wrapped mandrels are cured in ovens to harden the resin and set the shape.
Tape Removal
The heat-shrink tape is peeled off from the blank.
Sanding
The blank surface is sanded to smoothen and prepare for finishing.
Quality Control (QC) & Label
Each blank is checked for straightness, flex, finish, and structural integrity.
Mandrel Preparation (Iron Mandrel)
Steel mandrels are cleaned and coated.
Wrapping with Plastic Tape
Blanks are wrapped in heat-shrink tape for compression during curing.
Mandrel Removal (Pull Out)
Once cooled, the cured blanks are removed from the mandrels.
Grinding
Both ends of the blank are ground to clean up the edges.
Painting
Blanks are painted or coated for protection and aesthetics.
Packaging & Shipping
Finished blanks are labeled and packed for storage or delivery.
